The vibrant city of Vilnius is open to the city’s nurturing. For some time now, Vilnius City Municipality has been implementing the “Gift to Vilnius” initiative, which aims to encourage individuals, companies or organizations to contribute and at the same time return Vilnius.
The Civinity Group, one of the leading facility management and engineering groups in the Baltics, is also contributing to the initiative.
One of the companies of the Civinity Group, in the Old Town of Vilnius, provides all services related to building administration, technical and heat maintenance. Currently, the company serves over 600 residential, commercial, state, cultural and public buildings in Vilnius Old Town.
Not forgetting to pay attention to the general view of the Old Town and continuing to fill in the list of good works, Civinity this time updated the benches of Konstantinas Sirvydas Square in the heart of the Old Town.
“The Old Town of the capital is a big center of attraction, here we can meet tourists, city guests and Vilnius residents. By contributing to the municipal initiative, we want to renew the space where gatherings and events take place. After renovating the benches in Konstantinas Sirvydas Square, we hope that passers-by will be able to stop and breathe comfortably while admiring the exclusive old town of the capital. An orderly environment is very important to us, therefore we are happy to be able to use our resources not only in our daily activities, but also by taking a socially responsible step outside it, ”says Giedrius Eidimtas, Director of UAB Civinity LT.
“Vilnius is all of us – living here, working here, working for the city,” said Gintautas Runovičius, Head of the City Management and Environmental Protection Department of Vilnius City Municipality. “And the contribution of each of us to the restoration of the city is significant – it creates a community that cares about creating, nurturing, not destroying.”
